American trial attorney, legal commentator, and television host best known for hosting The Katie Phang Show on MSNBC and Peacock, where she presents her unique blend of legal analysis and political/cultural commentary. She is also the founder of her own law firm as well as a crisis management consultant and media relations strategist.
Before fame
She was born to a South Korean immigrant father who had come to the United States as a young adult. She obtained her bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University before going on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000. She later commenced her legal career as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County.
Trivia
She has hosted CNBC's Money Court and produced a documentary legal podcast called Class Action. In 2025, she launched an independent YouTube channel in partnership with Meidas Touch. She has also served as a legal analyst for Fox News and NBCUniversal and covered high-profile trials as a television legal consultant, such as the Michael Jackson case.

She shares one daughter with her husband, fellow attorney Jonathan Feldman.
