She learned to surf from her father, a former professional surfer, at the age of five and spent her formative years as a longboarder.

Family Life

She was born to Tammy and Tony Moniz and has four brothers named Seth, Isaiah, Micah, and Josh. She and her husband Joe Termini welcomed a baby boy name Liwai in November 2020.
