Before Fame

She began performing at the age of 4. By 14 she was polished as a performer, being booked to sing the Nation Anthem at three Los Angeles Lakers games.

Trivia

She opened for legendary singer-songwriter Paul Simon in the summer of 2006 and shortly thereafter released her debut album, We Are One, in March of 2007.

Family Life

Her parents, pianist Jeffrey Howard Sweet, and artist Candace Lynn Sweet, were strong influences on her pursuit of music. Tragically, Sweet lost both of her parents within a year, due to cancer.

Her cover of the classic Phil Collins' song "In The Air Tonight" was used to promote the NBC show Believe in January, 2014.
