He is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School in Lumberton, North Carolina. He then attended Fayetteville State University where he played college football.

Trivia

He made his NFL debut playing against the Tennessee Titans during week one of the 2021 preseason. His team lost the game 23-3.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Lumberton, North Carolina.
