Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in Tollywood feature films. She is known for having starred as Nandita Roy in the 2018 film Haami as well as Indrasis Acharya in the 2017 film Billu Rakkhosh. 

Before Fame

She graduated from the University of Calcutta within their Sivanath Sastri College branch. She started her acting career on television in 2003 when she made her debut on the Swapnanil series on the Zee Bangla network. Her feature film debut came in 2004 when she starred in Tin Ekke Tin. 

Trivia

She has won several awards for her acting including the Anandalok Puroshkar Critics Choice award for Abar Ashibo Phire in 2004. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Kalkata, India and married Surajit Hari in 2017.
