In 2019 she launched Backyard Texas Barbecue, a barbecue-focused recipe YouTube channel.
Her sisters are Elyse, Camille, Kendra, Lauren and Stephanie. She married Ammon Hills in 2006. They have daughters Addison, Ensley, Mailey, and Sarah.
Janelle Lloyd also runs a blog with her sister.
