Kyle Filipowski

About

7-foot center who joined the Duke University Blue Devils in 2022 as a consensus five-star recruit. He had a standout freshman year at Duke, earning ACC Rookie of the Year honors to go along with being named a Second-team All-ACC selection. 

Before Fame

He played his freshman year of high school basketball at Minisink Valley High School, then transferred to Fordham Preparatory School for his sophomore year. He then wound up playing his final two years of high school basketball at Wilbraham & Monson Academy. 

Trivia

He was named the Massachusetts Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year in 2023. He has accumulated over 60,000 followers on his kyleflip Instagram account. 

Family Life

He played alongside his twin brother Matt at Wilbraham & Monson Academy. Matt went on to play college basketball at Harvard University.
