Léo Dubois

Before Fame

Dubois was born in Segré-en-Anjou Bleu and as a teen trained with amateur sides SC Gemmois and ES Segré before making it to top division club FC Nantes. He made his league debut with Nantes in 2015.

In June 2022 Dubois appeared at the Pine Residence of French Ambassador to Lebanon Anne Grillo in a ceremony also attended by Lebanese world champion trap shooter Ray Bassil, French Olympics sports shooter Éric Delaunay, and professional soccer player Mehdi Khalil.

Family Life

His father, Jean-Pierre, was born in Lebanon in 1968, but adopted at 13-months old by a French family.

Associated With

He played five seasons for Lyon, the last season as captain, where his teammates included Lucas Paquetá and Jerome Boateng. His transferred to Galatasaray in July 2022, where his new teammates include Fernando Muslera and Patrick van Aanholt.
