Actor, writer and comedian known for playing Zach in the series Abbott Elementary. He also appeared in series like High Maintenance, Dash & Lily, Search Party, Life & Beth and Modern Love. In 2019, he received critical acclaim for his performance in Michael R. Jackson A Strange Loop, performed off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons. For his performance, he won a Lucille Lortel Award and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical.

Before Fame

He trained in acting and improvisational theater at the School at Steppenwolf. He moved to New York in 2015 to pursue a professional career in the performance arts. He was a volunteer at the Musical Theatre Factory.

Trivia

He was a staff writer for the truTV game show Paid Off. He had a small role in the 2018 film To Dust. He voiced Music Meister in the DC animated series Harley Quinn. He was also a voice actor in the Amazon animated series Fairfax.
