Before fame

She played piano and guitar as a child. She studied art history in college.

She worked as a mathematics teacher. Early in her music career, she played bass on tour with Yppah. She is known for never wearing the same outfit twice on stage. One of the TikTok videos she's posted features her fanning herself with a wad of money.
