About
American-Canadian composer, producer, and video game developer best known for her contributions to the soundtracks of popular video games including Minecraft, Guild Wars 2, and Celeste, in addition to many others. She founded her own development studio, Radical Dreamland, through which she designed and developed the 2024 video game Anothereal. She has also released Eps including "Snowflight" and "A Day on the Road," as well as multiple singles.
Before Fame
She grew up surrounded by musical influences and participated in choir as a child. She discovered MIDI arrangement via a fan community for Sonic the Hedgehog and began creating her own MIDI renditions of existing songs before beginning to create original compositions. She went on to earn a degree in music composition from Cornish College of the Arts before launching her professional career by contributing to video games like Dead State and Hackmud.
Trivia
She received a nomination for an award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). The music she composed for Celeste received a Best Score/Music nomination from The Game Awards in 2018. The soundtrack was also named Video Game Score of the Year by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) in 2019.
