Olympic track and field star who set world records in the 100m and 200m sprints. He won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona in the 4 x 100m Relay. He also won seven gold medals in national championships.

He grew up with very poor eyesight, so he couldn't compete in most sports, however he always had his eye on the prize in track and field.
Trivia
At the U.S. Championships in 1990 he set the world record in the 100m sprint with 9.90 seconds. He went on to beat that record in 1994 by getting 9.85 seconds.
