New Zealand social media entrepreneur, podcast host, author, and digital content creator known for being the co-founder and CEO of the social media brand Sh*t You Should Care About also known as SYSCA. She is especially known for having a large following on Instagram of over 3.4 million followers.

Before fame

she ran a One Direction fan account on Twitter that grew to about 60,000 followers and helped her learn how to do social media content creation before launching Sh*t You Should Care About. She started Sh*t You Should Care About in 2018 with her childhood friends Ruby Edwards and Olivia Mercer while sitting in a university International Relations lecture.

Trivia

She launched the first SYSCA podcast The Sh*t Show in 2020 after the team raised money for a podcast microphone by selling tote bags online. She co-authored the book Make It Make Sense with Bel Hawkins which was published in 2024.

Family life

She grew up in Blenheim, New Zealand. Her younger brother Jimmy died in 2019.
