Mahesh Kale

Indian singer who is known for his classical style of vocals. He specializes in Hindustani and Devotional music and is recognized for having starred in several ongoing productions of Katyar Kaljat Ghusali and for having performed at the Sawai Gandharva Music Festival in Pune. 

Before Fame

He gave his first solo performance at the age of 3 in Gondavale. He started taking formal lessons at the age of 6 and was selected as a disciple from Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki in 1991. 

Trivia

He has won several awards for his singing including Best Playback Singer for his work on the film Katyar Kaljat Ghusali at the 63rd annual National Film Awards. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Pune, Maharashtra, India and was first given vocal lessons from his mother Smt. Meenal Kale.
