Ceramic artist known for creating vessels using inspiration from nature, flea markets, folk crafts, abstract art and travel. Her pottery business started organically when she posted pictures of her mugs on Instagram. She also made and sold children's clothes and home goods.
Before Fame
She took sewing lessons as a child and then pattern drafting as an adult. She took ceramic classes in high school. She learned upholstery, natural dying, spinning, knitting, weaving, screen printing and photography.
Trivia
When she started sculpting, she worked out of the spare bedroom in her house. She set up a kiln on her porch for bisque firing. She later converted a garage into a studio.
Family Life
In 2011, she and her husband moved from Portland to the east coast. They have a daughter named Lupe.
