Iranian investigative journalist who was a founder of more than 20 newspapers and magazines. He worked as the chief editor for many prominent publications including Ayandegan and Tehran-e Mosavar.
He launched his journalism career in 1964 and joined the local trade union.
He has written numerous books including Khanoum, Kaveh Golestan: Recording the Truth in Iran and Robin Hood of the Desert.
He has 2 sons named Nima and Bamdad.
He was imprisoned on the orders of Ayatollah Khomeini after the Iranian leader shut down the Ayandegan.
