Brazilian guitarist, composer, music producer, and YouTuber known for his albums Kairos, Free Fusion, Free Form, and Mateus Starling Plays Daniel Figueiredo. He is also known for his YouTube channel where he shares guitar lessons, performance videos, interviews, and educational content with over 170,000 subscribers.
Before Fame
He began playing acoustic guitar when he was 12 years old and was initially inspired by rock music. He was performing professionally with bands and artists in his local music scene by the time he was 16 years old. He entered law school as a backup career plan when he was 17 years old and completed his law degree before fully committing to music. He attended Berklee College of Music where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008. He released his debut album Kairos in early 2009 and began posting guitar content on YouTube the same year. He founded the Starling Academy of Music in the mid-2010s.
