Before fame
She studied psychology and human behavior in university. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Deakin University, a Graduate Diploma in psychology from the University of Melbourne, and a Graduate Certificate in human resources and industrial relations from Victoria University. She began her career in the late 1990s as a consulting psychologist working with companies on leadership development and behavioral assessment. She joined Married at First Sight Australia in 2016 and remained one of the show's most recognizable experts for multiple seasons. She published her first major nonfiction book The C Word (Confidence) in 2022.
