She was born in Casablanca and moved to Lyon with her family when she was ten. She took theatre classes during her youth, and later performed with a Lyon-based stand-up comedy troupe.
Trivia
She went viral for uttering the phrase "I didn't come here to suffer, okay?" when asked to confront her fear of cockroaches. The clip subsequently became one of the most popular French memes of the 2010s. In September 2023 she worked with the Jamel Comedy Club troupe to support of the Moroccan people affected by the Al Haouz earthquake.
