Before Fame

He called his first match in November, 1994, for the WCW and AAA co-promoted match When Worlds Collide, because all of WCW's announcers refused to call it.

Trivia

After building a successful WCW play-by-play career, he joined TNA for its inauguration in 2002.

He married Karen Tenay in 1987.
