Politician who served as the Vice President of the World Bank, as well as the interim Prime Minister of Pakistan in 1993.
He attended the University of Punjab and Indiana University before becoming Senior Vice President for Finance at World Bank, an international financial institution that provides loans to developing countries for capital programs.
He was the leader of EMP Local and after his term as Prime Minister he obtained permanent residence status in the United States and founded Emerging Markets Partners, a private equity firm focusing on emerging markets investment.
He was born in Lahore.
He was succeeded by Benazir Bhutto as Prime Minister of Pakistan.
