Actor well-known for his role as Mr. Farouk in the Netflix original series Heartstopper, based on Alice Oseman's graphic novel of the same name. He has also appeared as Bijan in the 2023 film Femme and Jamal in the 2019 movie 90 Minutes. His television credits include the recurring role of Choobin in the 2019 mini-series Hatton Garden and Mazin in the 2021 TV movie Danny Boy.

He graduated from Warwick University with a degree in English Literature before going on to attend University College London, where he earned a master's degree in English. He made his professional acting debut on a 2016 episode of the long-running British drama series Casualty

In October 2020, on behalf of himself and the rest of the cast and crew of National Theater Live's Cyrano de Bergerac, he and Vaneeka Dadhrai delivered an acceptance rap after winning the Olivier Award for Best Revival. He is also a 2013 and 2014 alumnus of the National Student Drama Festival in the UK.
