Remembered for his work in the Central American Garifuna music genre, Nabor ("Nabi" to his fans) is particularly famous for introducing the Garifuna sub-genre of Paranda music to a wider audience.
His early and later hits include "Naguya Nei," "Niri," and "Sandi."
He contributed to Belizean musician Andy Palacio's 2007 album Watina.
Born Alfonso Palacio, he spent his early years in Punta Gorda, Belize.
He and Guatemalan musician Ricardo Arjona are both popular singers and songwriters from Central America.
