Indie rock and alternative singer and songwriter known for songs including "No Man," "Methamphetamines," "I Like You But," "Backwash," "Passenger Princess," "F*ck It Up," "Something Good (Live)," "Party Baby," "Wonder," and "It Rains in Michigan." She is also known for gaining attention on TikTok and Instagram where her music clips, candid personality, lifestyle content, and viral surfing-in-heels videos helped her build a large following.

Before fame

She began writing songs when she was 6 years old. She started performing at a young age by busking in public spaces, playing local venues, and traveling across the United States. She released her first EP Hope - EP in September 2017 which included songs like "Temporary Lover," "Drunk On You," "Dance," and "Drive." She followed this with a series of singles and her second EP Wonder - EP which was released in May 2020. She rebranded as Pearl in 2024. 

Trivia

She won Best Music at the Southern Shorts Awards Winter 2025 for her work contributing to the short film "The Space Between." She enjoys surfing. She released her song "No Man" in February 2024 which became part of her modern breakout along with "Methamphetamines" in 2024, "F*ck It Up" in 2025, and "Passenger Princess" also in 2025.

Her real name is Hope Renee Waidley. Her sister Claire is also a musician.
