Welsh former rugby union player who represented Wales at the Rugby World Cup in 1987 and 1991. He later served as the coach of the Cardiff Blues from 2012 to 2014.
He was born in Seven Sisters and played amateur rugby for Llanelli RFC.
As an international player for Wales, he was involved in the infamous "Battle of Cardiff" where he was punched by England's Wade Dooley.
His wife Karen passed away from cancer in 1997.
He was teammates with Dai Young on the Welsh team which finished third at the 1987 Rugby World Cup.
