After building the business from scratch, it would be bought by Mom.me in 2015, and she remained on the project to guide it trough a rebranding and relaunch. She attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a BA in political science. She remained at the school to earn her Juris Doctor from their School of Law.

She was a political intern at the White House for a couple of months in late 2001 and worked at he US District Court for 5 months in 2006. She then found her way into the real estate business for some time.

She and her husband Nathan would have sons named Grayson and Harper.
