Before Fame
He was raised skiing and only got his first snowmobile in order to gain backcountry skiing access. He began his career as a professional skier but eventually fell in love with sledding.

He offers guided snowmobile rides to groups at his personal lodge in Revelstoke, British Columbia. He also works as a commercial fisherman in Vancouver. He is an official Ski-Doo brand ambassador as well as a member of the Ski-Doo Backcountry Expert Team. He was the first ever snowmobiler to do pillow lines on a sled.
