About

Particularly notable for his role as Ragueneau in the 1990 film Cyrano de Bergerac, this French actor is also known for playing the father of Jean Rochefort's character in the feature The Hairdresser's Husband, as well as for portraying impresario Simon Weinstadt in the 1981 movie Diva.

Before Fame

He launched his screen acting career in the early 1970s, appearing in a French miniseries version of Les Miserables, as well as in several episodes of the television series Les Nouvelles Aventures de Vidocq.

Trivia

Appearing alongside Albert Dupontel and Claude Perron, he played Monsieur Duval in the 2006 French film Enfermes Dehors.

He was born and raised in Paris, France.
