Woman alleged to have lived to the age of 130. She lived her entire life, whatever its actual length (there is some controversy surrounding her actual birth date), in Kazakhstan.
She claimed in an interview that, since her childhood, she had avoided both desserts and medicine.
She died several weeks after suffering a fall in her home.
Controversy surrounding her actual age resulted from the fact that, at the time of her death, her oldest child was seventy-six years old, meaning that she would have had to have given birth to this daughter when she was in her fifties.
If she was indeed 130 years old when she passed away, she would have been eight years older than Jeanne Calment, a French woman who died at age 122 and had previously held the world record for oldest living person.
