She debuted as an actress in 1987 in the film Griban. She followed it with a role in Khatarnaak.
She has appeared on television shows that include Piya Naam Ka Diya, Ye Mera Pagalpan Hai, Kaneez and Rang Laaga.
She married Syed Noor in July of 2005, and would appear in Syde's 2010 film Ye Mera Pagalpan Hai.
