Family life

She married her husband on May 24, 2020, after getting engaged in South Africa in 2019. After tearing her ACL and losing her health insurance, the couple unexpectedly married at City Hall so she could have coverage for her upcoming surgery. They later celebrated with a larger wedding in Boston in June 2021 and eventually traveled to Thailand in November 2022, using their original wedding credit for a babymoon while she was seven months pregnant.
