Writer, director, and film producer known for being the co-creator and executive producer of the hit Hulu series PEN15. He also directed episodes of the shows The Neddeaus of Duqesne Island and Take My Wife.
Before fame
He began his creative journey by making indie shorts, small web projects, and low-budget films, and spent nearly a decade learning every part of production from camera work to editing to writing. He released his first short film, Gabriel & Romy, in 2009. He then directed six episodes of the show Lemons The Show in 2010, followed by several short films. He then met future collaborators Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle in the mid-2010s, who would become the stars and co-creators of PEN15. His big break was when PEN15 was released in 2019.
Trivia
He won a Canadian Screen Award for directing The Neddeaus of Duqesne Island. His real-life middle school experiences inspired the character Sam on PEN15.
