South African film and television director, writer, poet, and digital creator known for her work on the SABC1 soap opera Uzalo and the telenovela Amalanga Awafani. She is also known for being the founder of Ngizozama Media and the founder of Her Foundation.
Before fame
She attended the University of the Witwatersrand and studied education, directing, and theater until graduating in 2020. She began posting content online in 2021. She began working on the series Uzalo around 2024 as a trainee director before advancing into a full directing role by 2025. She began directing on Amalanga Awafani in 2025.
Trivia
She collaborated with Thando Dlamini on the spoken-word piece "Can Someone Please Tell a Man to STOP...," which addresses social issues affecting women. She received a 2026 SAFTA nomination for Best Achievement in Directing - TV Soap. She was part of the team behind the series Magweja which was nominated in February 2026 and went on to win the National Arts Merit Award for Outstanding Screen Production (Television) at the 2026 NAMAs. Her spoken word piece "Mama wam" has become one of her most recognized works online.
