Bad News Bears, which marked Kraft's acting debut, was released when she was only thirteen years old.
Tragically, she died at the age of twenty in an automobile accident in Los Angeles, California.
The youngest of three children and a member of a Jewish family, she grew up in New Jersey and California.
In the original (1976) version of Bad News Bears, actress Tatum O'Neal played Kraft's character, Amanda Whurlitzer.
