Famous for her portrayal of Natalie Bryant in the 1991 film Close My Eyes, she is also notable for her recurring roles on the TV shows Luther, Wolf Hall, and Plotlands.
She began her entertainment career as a puppeteer and comedic actress at the Covent Garden Community Theatre and went on to train at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
She was featured in a 2008 British stage production of the Athol Fugard play Hello and Goodbye.
She grew up in London as the child of a British father and a Dutch mother.
She appeared with Amanda Plummer in the 1995 film Butterfly Kiss.
