Comedian and author who is known for her dark comedy and deadpan humor. She is most recognized for her book Nina is Not OK.
She was forced to flee from Iran to London after the Islamic Revolution. She graduated from King Alfred's College in 1995 with a degree in drama. She began by performing stand up comedy at Joe Wilson's Comedy Madhouse.
She is a member of the Arts Emergency Service, where she performs charity work for teenagers to further their education.
She is the daughter of Iranian satirist and poet Hadi Khorsandi.
