Moroccan pop singer, actress, model, and television personality known for songs such as "Baheb Feek," "Kelmet Hobb," "Ess'alny Ana," "Tahwak," "Nmout 3lik," "Bezzaf Bezaf," "Lalla Mimouna," "Bouya," "Daba," and "Lallahom." She is also known for albums including Kelmet Hobb and Tahwak as well as later singles such as "Allah Ynsar Sidna," "Lalla Mimouna," "Bouya," "Daba," and "Lallahom."

Before fame

She began appearing on camera at a young age including appearing in a commercial when she was about four years old. She worked as a model in Morocco and France and began singing at family gatherings. She appeared in acting projects as a teenager including the film Soleil and the Moroccan film Wa Baad. Her breakthrough came when she joined Star Academy Arabia in 2003 where she became one of the most recognized contestants of the season. She released her debut album Kelmet Hobb in 2007 and followed with Tahwak in 2011.

Family life

Her full name is Sofia Kareem El Marikh. She was born in Casablanca, Morocco and spent part of her upbringing in Marrakech after her parents separated.
