Actress who has gained fame for her appearances across South Korean TV and film, including as Suk-yeong in the 2006 KBS1 historical drama Dae Jo Yeong. She later earned critical acclaim for her turn as Princess Kyunghye in the 2011 drama KBS2 TV series The Princess' Man.

Before Fame

She began her career in the entertainment industry as a magazine model in high school. She later began acting in 1999. 

Trivia

She won the 2013 MBC Drama Award for actress in a serial drama for her work on the MBC TV drama Give Love Away. She starred on the SBS TV series Goodbye Dear Wife as Kang Sun-ah.

She was originally born and raised in Incheon, South Korea.
