Before Fame

She debuted in the entertainment industry by singing on the TV show Noche a Noche at age 8. She debuted as an actress at age 16 on the telenovela El precio de la fama.


Her sophomore 1994 album, La raza humana, received the Palmas de Oro musical prize from Mexican music critics. Her song "Nube" from the album was inspired by the sudden death of Kurt Cobain.

Family Life

She was born into a storied Mexican entertainment industry family, as both her mother and father are both renown actors and directors. She had a daughter named Michelle with singer Luis Miguel.
