English bassist and metal musician known for being a founding member of the gothic metal band Paradise Lost and for playing bass on the band's albums including Gothic, Draconian Times, One Second, Obsidian, and Ascension.

Before fame

He joined Paradise Lost as the band's bassist in 1988. He played bass on the band's 1990 debut album Lost Paradise.

He was interviewed with Greg Mackintosh by Metal-Trails.com in 2013 and by The Age of Metal in 2016. He has remained with Paradise Lost through multiple style shifts including death-doom, gothic metal, and gothic rock. He remained in the Paradise Lost lineup for the band's 2025 album Ascension.
