He graduated from the University of Melbourne. He was a law student when he began working with other comedians.

He has written comedic books that include "The Warwick Todd Diaries", "Warwick Todd: Back in the Baggy Green", "Warwick Todd Goes The Tonk" and "Warwick Todd - Up in the Block Hole." He is a co-founder of Working Dog Productions alongside Santo Cilauro, Jane Kennedy and Rob Sitch.
