Painter and graphic artist who helped found both the Medulic Society and the Zagreb Spring Salon of 1916. His work spanned oils and tempera as well.
He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1903 until 1907. He studied with William Unger.
He worked as both a theatrical set and costume designer and as an art teacher.
He was born in Orlovac in what used to be Austria-Hungary.
He and fellow artist Ivan Mestrovic attended the same art school.
