Before Fame
He discovered his love for performing when he played Charlie Brown in his middle school musical. He went on to study acting at the University of Texas at Austin and completed a BFA program. He moved to Los Angeles after graduating college in 2017 and booked his first on-screen role in the Facebook Watch drama Five Points. He auditioned for Hamilton in 2018 and joined the company in 2019, where he toured with the "And Peggy" tour that performed in Puerto Rico. He was cast on the Broadway version of Hamilton in 2024.

He has a tattoo honoring his first ever stage role character which was Charlie Brown. He once worked at Vans and sold shoes between auditions.
