Basketball coach known for coaching the Portland State Vikings basketball team and for coaching various community college basketball teams. 

Before Fame

He grew up playing basketball and played basketball for Highline Community College. He then spent a decade coaching collegiately in the state of Washington. He began his coaching career as an assistant under Greg Sparling at Central Washington University from 1994 to 1996. He served as co-head coach at Edmonds Community College. He was scheduled to take over as head coach there prior to coming to Portland State. 

Trivia

He received his bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in health education from Central Washington in the year 1996. He earned his master's degree in education from City University in the year 2000.

Family Life

He was born in Burien, Washington, but he grew up in the Seattle area. He has two sons named Thomas and Demetri with Anastasia Geving.
