Una Morgan

About

Reggae vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist who formed the popular band Morgan Heritage with her siblings in 1994. Her 2010 single "Fight" from her debut solo album spent four consecutive weeks on the New York Top 30 Reggae Charts.

Before Fame

She had her first public performance with Morgan Heritage at the Reggae Sunsplash music festival in Jamaica.

Trivia

She won her first Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for 2015's Strictly Roots.

Family Life

Her father is reggae artist Denroy Morgan. Her siblings Peter, Roy, Nakhamyah and Memmalatel joined her in Morgan Heritage.

She's credited both Whitney Houston and Grace Jones with influencing her musical style.
