Samoan rugby footballer who has played in both rugby league and rugby union, winning back-to-back Challenge Cup Finals with the Wigan Warrios in 1994 and 1995. He has represented both New Zealand and Samoa at the Rugby World Cup.
He played amateur rugby for Ponsonby before making his professional debut with Auckland in 1988.
He put off an arm operation to compete in the 2001 Rugby League World Cup, where he earned a Man of the Match award.
His wife Daphne has served as the Director of Peaceful Funeral Services Ltd.
He was teammates with future coach Pat Lam at the 1999 Rugby World Cup.
