He is especially known for his realistic portraits and often does memorial tattoos for clients. One of his most popular videos is from January of 2022, where he attempts for the 2nd time to get Doja Cat's attention by doing an elaborate tattoo of her on his friend. The video has over 11.7 million views and over 2 million likes. 

Before Fame

Originally he was an MRI technologist. After finishing an 8-month apprenticeship, he posted to his Valentin Ink YouTube channel that he was ready to take clients in 2019. He first posted to his TikTok in December of 2020 with a video showing the kind of art he does on the regular, using computer programs and pictures to design the pieces.

He has 190,000 followers on his valentin.ink Instagram page, which includes professional and artistic photos of him as well as his tattoo work. There is also the beginning of a series where he reacts to TikTok tattoo videos. His following on TikTok is so strong that it is not unusual for his latest release to receive tens of thousands of views in just its first day.
