She graduated in journalism from New York University. She started her career in the food and beverage industry in 2006 in Hong Kong.
She was ranked as one of the Top 100 Tech Bloggers Who Influence Hong Kong in 2013.
She was born in New York, but has also bounced around parts of Asia. She is a second dan black belt and has a background in ballroom dance.
She and Chelsea Kreiner are both foodies who run their own online cooking blogs.
