British chef, restaurateur, and content creator known for being one of the founders of the sustainability-focused London restaurant Fallow which he launched with chef Jack Croft and entrepreneur James Robson in 2019. He is also known for the Fallow Chefs YouTube and social media channels where he shares recipes, chef tips, kitchen videos, and behind-the-scenes restaurant content with over 2.2 million subscribers.
Before fame
He originally did not plan to become a chef and studied classical literature at the University of Birmingham before working as a kitchen porter at a local Italian restaurant and becoming drawn to professional cooking. He worked at Peak Edge Hotel in Derbyshire before moving to London where he worked at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal from 2015 to 2020 and met Jack Croft. His big break came after he and Jack Croft developed and opened Fallow in 2019.
Trivia
He helped open Fallow's first permanent site in St James's Market in November 2021. He helped Fallow earn a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2021, and he and Jack Croft both won a 2021 Acorn Award from The Caterer. He and Jack began uploading content on their YouTube channel in 2022.
