Best recognized for being the eighth and current bishop of the Diocese of Calgary, who was appointed by Pope Francis. He was ordained to the priesthood on the date of May 2, 1987.
Before Fame
He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario and received a Master of Divinity from St. Peter's Seminary in London. He also studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, where he received a Licentiate in Fundamental Moral Theology in the year 1992.
